TIME HAS RUN OUT - GONE!

We’re down to hours and minutes… we are in a national Constitutional governmental crisis…hijacked by enemies internal and external… action NOW! Let me explain…

I just finished typing a long response to an urgent message by Prof. Robert Reich, famous economist & wonderful analyst at UC Berkeley. I’m going to grab the words and adapt them to this new article…

… The United States (we can still call ourselves that, for the moment) situation is becoming more critical by the day, by the minute...

For example, I have been trying to contact the local VA offices with issues about health care, and their website (va.gov) keeps freezing so then I'm timed out. I've tried phoning the numbers listed, and they are busy all the time. I've been a VA patient for many years and have never seen anything like this. It may very well tie to the cutting off of resources, maintenance, etc and firing of personnel.

All of us are waiting with bated breath to see if our monthly checks from Social Security, VA Compensation, Medical sources, etc will arrive again… the end of Feb 2025 is nearing, and the time is going from urgent to critical for everyone…

Well-meaning people (educated, used to law & order, logical, etc) keep talking about impeaching, appealing, etc... since the corporate republican reaganist privateers (and the musk/dump robbers) now own the entire Federal government, there is no time or ability left for any sort of bureaucratic appeals.

Our government is founded on an ancient principle that kept the Roman Republic (a democracy for at least half of its nearly 500 years) in balance: namely, plenty of division of powers, checks and balances, etc. For example, they had two Consuls (imagine if we had two presidents, each of whom could veto the other!). Veto in Latin means “I forbid.” I am not saying we should have two Presidents, but imagine if we had a garbage can like Dump who wants to do all sorts of insane things (on behalf of his siblings Putin and Xi) and the other (like our truly elected Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris) says “I forbid.” That’s the end of the story. Stopped dead in his tracks. We don’t have that, but the ancient Romans did… regardless of all the lies told about them by partisan, selfish, dishonest “Christian” hacks for the last 1800 years or more. The Founders/Framers of the Enlightenment knew all this, as did the great Enlightenment philosophers to gave us what amounts to our republic and democracy, free of kings and aristocrats or is that “aristo-shat?” At this moment, what we have is frozen… maybe forever if we can’t figure out a way past Trump, Musk, Putin, Xi, and more generally the neo-Confederates, the Neo-Nazis, and the rest of the crooked scum and their brainless maga-noid followers.

The only recourse now is at the state level. I keep urging that all the state governors join together, starting with the Democratic Party governors... present a united front. The key: each of them/you, in their/your state, do not allow the oligarchs (Putinoids, Oligarchs, etc) to commit these crimes in your state.

All branches of the Federal Govt are now occupied by the enemies within (oligarchs) and without (Putinoids). Time is running out. Stop grasping for straws. There is no impeachment, there are no appeals. One of the things I dread, by the way, is VIOLENCE. As the author of various genres including political thrillers, I've sort of lived it already in the imagination. But it's just a step away from reality.

The answer is NOT, NOT, NOT a Second Constitutional Convention. That is one of the ideas being tossed around. I’ve been there, done that, lived it, and I want to impress on you that it is a fatal recipe for national doom. I’ve been meaning to expand on that, and I will in my next article(s). Basically:

In the 1990s (thirty years ago) I wrote a vibrant thriller titled CON2: The Generals of October. It received a little bit of praise (few read it) and over 109 rejection slips from the popcorn industry in New York Shitty (the “media”, the foreign-owned publishing racket). In 2021, within two days of the attempted coup by Donald Trump and his insurrectionists, I re-released that same novel under the title WASHINGTON UNDER SIEGE: AUTUMN OF THE REPUBLIC. And today, the subject is more relevant than ever because thinkers are more and more starting to talk about whatever desperate measures are left to us: as follows… CON2.

The topic of my novel is CON2: a Second Constitutional Convention... which leads to a coup attempt by various dark factions... the novel was not comprehended because it seemed so far fetched and complex... but i have "lived it," so to speak, and now I hear talk of a CON2. I warn everyone: don't do it. Do not kill off our Constitution in this manner... if anyone will ever give me a chance, I'll explain... I'm trying to do so on my substack...we must amend the Constitution one amendment at a time in the traditional manner... one of the unintended consequences of a CON2, as I realized, is that the Constitution in effect becomes somehow neutralized, suspended, whatever we might want to call it... it loses power because now there is a pending "something" that will be the revised Constitution etc etc and in the meantime, the ground is wide open for a coup by dark generals and cynical politicians... and we're having all that right now: the oligarchs. So the last thing I want to see is any type of civil war or other violence. We have lost the Federal Govt for now, but we have fifty state governors, some of whom are traitors and lunatics (Abbot of Texas, Insane Eyes of Florida) but the majority might just see logic and reason and get together as a united front.

Bottom line: CON2 is a recipe for civil war and Goetterdaemmerung (Twilight of the Gods).

Don’t do it. Amend our sacred scripture (the Constitution) one amendment at a time, painstaking, loving, respectful, because it is the bible of our civic religion (as some philosophers have call it). Make no mistake: the Constitution is the Bible of the United States. Toss it in the trash, and we’re totally gone. At the moment, we’re still sliding but bottom is approaching fast.

In the meantime, you remember the old adage: Realizing a problem is half the solution. To which we might add: Understanding the problem is 90{% of the solution. We need to go the last 10% and restore our nation... and the world that has been depending on us.... this damage already may not be totally undoable... but I think NATO for one would breathe a huge sigh of relief to see us back to Obama or Clinton or anything other than Reagan, Bush, Trump, etc. So let's be aware there is a problem... I know from people I have met on the street that a lot of people (maga brains) still don't have a clue and love their Dump and all his vapor farts...the solution will be (somehow) to restore our balance of powers, our checks and balances, and hopefully end governance by irresponsible, selfish, small minded traitors and criminals like Abbot, Insane, Slimy Mitch McConnell, Newt Gingrich, and so many other enemies of our republic and our democracy. PS: it's not just enemies within (Musk, Trump, etc) but enemies without: Putin & Co are deeply involved in starting movements like trying to get various chunks of the US to secede... not just the usual South but also California (second try now) and other sections...anything to destroy our country and enable tyrants, BRICS, etc.
